The Spires at Berry College with Jill Trapp

The citizens of Rome, Georgia are about to get a great addition to the beautiful Berry College Campus. The Spires at Berry College is a Continuing Care Retirement Community that is currently being built on 48 acres of the campus overlooking Eagle Lake.

Jill Trapp, a Retirement Counselor with The Spires with a background in healthcare marketing, sat down with me to talk about this new project and the impact it will have on Rome and Floyd County. Set to open June of 2020, they are at 80% capacity with only 35 units available at the time of this recording.

Originally proposed as an addition to Berry College’s student work programs, The Spires will be a full service retirement community as well as a valuable resource for students to get hands on experience.
